Support literacy at home by sharing TeachingBooks resources at school or public library events like Open Houses, PTA events, Family Literacy Nights and parent-focused programs. Use the TeachingBooks sharing tools to create printable bookmarks or flyers for any page, list, or individual resource that you want to share with families.
- Print and share access direction flyers to build awareness of TeachingBooks and encourage families explore the site at home.
- Select recommended titles and accompanying printable activities from Early Childhood offerings. Send lists and printables home to reinforce phonics and phonological awareness concepts introduced in the classroom.
- Direct families to the Homework Help page to find tools to identify titles with resources like Book Guides and Vocabulary Lists.
