Marissa Moss: Hello. My name is Marissa Moss, but when I was little, I had a nickname, which was Missy Moss. And that doesn't quite sounds as good as Marissa, but when I was a kid, I didn't know that. I thought Missy Moss was fine until I ran for student office, and the principal was announcing my name, and instead of saying Missy Moss, he said Missy Moose. And I wanted to sink into the floor. I thought that sounded so awful. And I couldn't change my last name, but I decided right then that I didn't wanna be called Missy anymore, and I asked everyone to call me Marissa. And since then, I've been Marissa Moss.
