Wade Hudson: My name is Wade Hudson, and Hudson is pronounced like the river. And I am a junior. I am Wade Hudson, Jr. Now, when I was growing up, I did not like junior. And so when I was in school, I usually referred to myself as Wade Hudson and not the junior handle. I have now come to appreciate the importance of being named after my father. But again, when I was growing up, I did not appreciate that name because I wanted my own identity and junior, for me, when I was growing up, indicated that I was an extension of my father. But I now understand that Wade Hudson, Jr. carries its own distinction too.
