Edo Van Belkom: Hi. My name is Edo Van Belkom. Edo is both a Dutch and Italian name. My mother is Italian, my father Dutch. When I was in elementary school, I was known as Edo-Potato. I hated that then, although I use it now to tell people how to pronounce my name, and say, "Edo like potato."

Edo Van Belkom is a cool name, especially since I'm doing horror for young adults. But I always tell people that I earned it because I had to go through elementary school being Edo-Potato the whole time. It was much worse for my brother, though. His name was Louie in elementary school, and he was called Louie-Poohie all the way through, so Edo-Potato doesn't sound too bad.
