Smith, Jr. I use my full name on every single one of my books because there's a whole lot of Charles Smith's in the world, and that's just one of the ways to separate me. But more than anything, I use my full name because the junior means that I share the same name as my father. Unfortunately my father passed away years ago, back in 1999, and I use my full name to honor him so that whenever says my name, they're also saying his name, and it makes me think of him every single time.
