G. Neri: Hello, my name is G. Neri. A lot of people ask me, "What's up with the G?" Or, "What's your real name?" My real name is Greg, and the reason I use G. Neri is that I was doing both illustration and writing, the writing was for young adults, it was very dark, edgy, urban stuff, and the illustration was for toddlers, very innocent, pure, and colorful, two very different things. And so I didn't want people to confuse. So I thought back to when I was in kindergarten I used to sign my drawings Greg N. And I thought, "Oh, I'll use that for the illustration side, Greg N., and then G. Neri," so I thought, "Well, I'll use that for the young adult stuff and that'll kind of define the brands."
