Alane Ferguson: Hi. My name is Alane Ferguson. That's A-L-A-N-E, Alane not Elaine, which is what a lot of people call me by mistake. My parents really wanted to name a child after my grandfather, Al. My mom and dad made up a name, Alane. My grandfather was thrilled when he found out, and that's how I got my name.
