Lisa Wheeler: Hello, my name is Lisa Wheeler. I have a very common sounding name. As a matter of fact, the year I was born, Lisa was the most popular name for baby girls. Growing up there were always several Lisas in every one of my classes and in fourth grade, our school had six Lisas. I blame my mother, but she insisted that when she named me, Lisa was not so common and she had never known another Lisa. I swore that I would never do the same thing to one of my children. Well you guessed it, in 1986, I named my second daughter Katie, a name which wasn't very common then and I never actually knew anyone named Katie. History has a funny way of repeating itself, as my daughter was always one of several Katies in every one of her classes, and of course, she blames me.
