John Coy: Hello, my name is John Coy, coy rhymes with boy, rhymes with joy. When I was a boy, I sometimes wished I had a more distinctive first name since John was the fifth most common boy's name the year I was born, but now I really like it. Having a short name is a big advantage when I'm signing books. When I'm in schools, I prefer students call me John Coy rather than Mr. Coy, John Coy.
