Ann Cameron: Hello. My name is Ann Cameron. I've been told that Cameron is a Scots Gaelic word that means crooked nose. For about 20 years, I lived in Guatemala and to children there who speak Spanish my name was hard to pronounce and to them it sounded mostly just like the Spanish word "camaron." Some of the children there like to greet me on the street saying "Hola, Doña Camaron," which means hello, Ms. Shrimp. But, I don't have a crooked nose and I'm not a shrimp either.
