Ashley Wolff: Hello, my name is Ashley Wolff. Ashley comes from the English word for dweller in the ash tree grove. An ash tree is a kind of tree that grows both in England and in America. The kind that I like is a sort of a small tree that has white blossoms and red berries. In England it's call a Rowan tree. So, one of my sons is named Rowan. My last name Wolff is just like the animal except two f's instead of one. My first name is Jennifer, I don't use it at all. Because my parents started out calling me Jenny, but they decided that after three weeks that I didn't seem like a Jenny at all, I was an Ashley.

But, I'm also the oldest Ashley you're ever gonna meet who's a girl. Ashley's a very popular name now, but back when I was born it was a boys name. It was English but it was mostly used in the south, just like Ashley Wilkes in Gone With The Wind. So, Ashley Wolff is not the same as Ashley Wilkes, it's a girl's name and one that I've enjoyed having for 51 years.
