Gail Langer Karwoski: Hello, my name is Gail Karwoski, that's pronounced Kar-wash-ki, but makes a shh into an S. It's a Polish name, and it's my husband's last name. My last name when I was a girl growing up was Langer, that's like hanger, only with an L. And, the funny story about my maiden name is that my dad was the shortest fellow in his village. But, Langer is from the German and it means longer, the longest, the tallest fellow in the village. So, right away, my name gave me the beginnings of an interesting story and I love to tell stories. Thank you.
