Alice and John Bell picked Yvonne as my middle name. So I was Sharon Yvonne Bell. I was born in Atlantic City, New Jersey. I loved my name Sharon. I loved the Atlantic Ocean, and I still do. I married Leroy Franklin Mathis in 1957, and now you know where the name Mathis came from. Today, I have five grandchildren. Sadly, my husband died in 1980, but our family continues on and on and on.
