Natalie Kinsey-Warnock: Hello, my name is Natalie Kinsey-Warnock. Warnock is my married name. My father in law pronounced it Warneck. But my husband and I pronounce it Warnock. Kinsey is my maiden name. My father, Fred Kinsey, whose heritage is Irish, Scottish, English, and German, but I identify most strongly with my mother's side of the family, which is Scottish. I've taken my family, 16 of us, my mother, father, sister, brothers, nephew and nieces, and some cousins to Scotland to research our family history. My Scottish ancestors, the Andersons, Keith's, Uri's, and Young's, were the first settlers in my part of Vermont's Northeast Kingdom, 200 years ago. And my books are all based on my childhood growing up on a Vermont dairy farm, and my true family stories. And most of the characters in my books have Scottish names.
