Alex Macaskill: Hi. My name is Alex Macaskill. I'm an illustrator in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. The last name Macaskill is a Scottish name, Gaelic origins, meaning son of Asgall, which is itself originally Norse. And I like it because it sounds like something out of Lord of the Rings.
Yeah, that's Alex Macaskill, M-A-C-A-S-K-I-L-L, not MacAskill, which it's normally confused with.
