Salima Alikhan: So, my name's Salima Alikhan. So it actually... Salima has several different cultural and ethnic roots. My father's from India, so I guess that's where they got that particular name. And it is, I think, an Arabic name. And the Jewish version of it is Salome. The Arabic version is Salima, and I think it means safety.

And then Alikhan. So, a lot of times Alikhan is two different words. My parents met in Germany, when they immigrated over to the United States, he just put it all into one big word, Alikhan. So, that's pretty much what I know about my name.
