Taylor Mali: Hello, my name is Taylor Mali. Mali sounds pretty much exactly like the girl's name spelled M-O-L-L-Y, even though it's spelled like the African country, Mali, M-A-L-I. Taylor is now pretty much a girl's name. I sometimes feel like I'm the last boy named Taylor. That might be a good name for a book. When I used to go to poetry readings I would sign up on the list. And to make sure that the host pronounced my last name correctly, I would actually spell it M-O-L-L-Y, and then the host goes, please welcome, next up to the mic, Taylor Molly. I like my first name because it makes me smile, and I like my last name because it comes from Belgium.
