Jessica Vitalis: My name is pronounced Jessica Vitalis, and there's actually quite a fun story behind my name because I am married. My husband has a family that came over on a boat from Sweden, and they settled in Minnesota. But at the time they were the Anderson family and there were so many Andersons that settled in rural Minnesota that the post office told them they would no longer deliver their mail unless they switched their name. So the Anderson family dropped Anderson and their middle name at the time was the Vitale family after St. Vitale. And so they became the Vitalis family. And so instead of Jessica Anderson, my married name today is Jessica Vitalis.
