Rob Buyea: Hi, I'm Rob Buyea. One of the most frequent questions I get is how to pronounce my last name. And again for you, it is BOO-yay. And I will say, growing up, that is probably the name I went by more than any other, not my first name, but instead my last name, Buyea. Somewhere along the line, I realized people would start to do a thumbs down, followed by a thumbs up sign, sort of like sign language for how to pronounce my name. But after becoming a teacher, what I seem to remember is every day at recess, my students would be running out to the playground yelling, "Boo-yah," like you might actually hear on ESPN. It's Buyea.
