A.M. Dassu: Hi, my name is A.M. Dassu I am known as Az, but my author name is A. M. Dassu, and Az has been my nickname for as long as I can remember. It was given to me at school by my friends. Friends called it me for several reasons. Az is sort of half my full name and it captures all of the letters A to Z in the alphabet, which covers everything. The good and the bad. My proper name is an Arabic name, but I chose to use my initials for anonymity for my family. And my author name, the initial A is for my first name, the M is for my maiden name and Dassu is the name I took after I got married.
