Emei Burell: Hello. My name is Emei Burell. Emei is a Chinese name and Burell is a European name. Emei in Chinese is pronounced YEE-EM-AY. The first part of the name, E, means leaf. And the second part, Mei, means a flower that blooms in winter. They chose this flower because I was born in December.
