Jamie Letourneau: Hello, my name is Jamie Letourneau. As you can see by my last name, it's a pretty French name although I have different heritages on both sides of my family including Swedish and German, obviously French and a little bit Native American. Somewhere along the way someone in my family changed our name from the beautiful French pronunciation to what we use now, which is simply LA-TURN-OH.

But I believe Letourneaux means something like a blackbird or starling.
And I've also read that it could mean bird catcher. When I was younger I acquired the nickname Bird by my brother because I had a little bit of an overbite, especially when I would draw. There's nothing super special about my first name Jamie, other than my mom babysat a little girl when she was younger and she always liked the name so it stuck with her. As did I.
