Livia Blackburne: Hi, my name is Livia Blackburne. I like to tell people that it's like Olivia without the O. So my Chinese name is Jin Liwei. So Liwei is what my mom was trying to replicate in English when she chose my name, and she originally chose Weiwei. And then she was considering Olivia, but then she saw in a newspaper article that Mark Twain's wife was named Livia and she decided to choose that instead. Yesterday I looked up Mark Twain's wife and her name was actually Olivia, so I'm not quite sure what happened, but I am Livia. Blackburne I married into. Some people say it makes me sound like a pirate. Some people say it makes me sound like an author. I like to think both.
