Tracey Hecht: Hi, my name is Tracey Hecht. I found out a few years ago that my last name 'Hecht' actually means a sweetwater shark in German. I thought that was really funny because I always thought that my first name, Tracey, sounded sort of happy and smiley. Then Hecht is sharper. It is very fitting that it actually is in fact a shark. So I feel like my name has an inherent balance to it, of one being soft and easy and the other one being severe and hard, with the Tracey Hecht together.
