Tameka Fryer Brown: Hello. My name is Tameka Fryer Brown. People often misspell my first name. For some reason they want to spell it, T-A-M-I-K-A or sometimes T-O-M-I-K-A. But nope, it's T-A-M-E-K-A. In my day-to-day life, I tend to use my first and last names only. But as an author I use three names because three names just sound very authorly to me. I decided to use Fryer as my middle name because growing up it used to be my last name and I wanted to honor my family, especially my mother and my grandmother who loved me unconditionally and raised me to always do and to be the very best that I can do and be.
