It's pronounced pretty much the way you see it on the page, although if you write Brian, chances are you might misspell it as brain, which basically has been my experience with emails, birthday cards, and then the Valentine's Day cards I got from my classmates in elementary school. I suppose there are worse things I could be called than brain, so all things considered, I'm okay with it.
