Sheela Preuitt: Hi. My name is Sheela. That's Sheela with two E's. When people just hear my name, they typically spell it with "EI" in the middle, so I started introducing myself as, "Hi, I'm Sheela with two E's." Sheela is a Sanskrit word meaning character. It's quite a common name in India. A more popular version of my name is Susheela, where the Sanskrit prefix "su" means good, so that Susheela means good character. But I guess since I'm just Sheela, I'm just a plain old character.
