Sandra Neil Wallace: Hello, my name is Sandra Neil Wallace. Neil was shortened from Neilipovitz which is the last name of my grandparents from my dad's side. They immigrated to Canada from Ukraine. Wallace was added when I married my husband, Rich Wallace. He also writes children's books, and we've written many books together. As a kid, my classmates would say, "Neil, Neil, banana peel," and I didn't mind, because I love bananas.
