Jill Hedgecock: My name is Jill Hedgecock, and it sounds just the way it looks phonetically. When I was getting married, I actually wanted my husband and I to combine our last names. My maiden name was Hickson, and his was Hedgecock, and I wanted us to be Hedgeson, but his parents didn't really like that idea, so I gave up and became Hedgecock, and I'm really glad I did. I really like my last name.
