Brenda Z. Guiberson: Hello. My name is Brenda Z. Guiberson, like a guy, except that I'm a female. It's okay to just call me Brenda. Z is the first initial of my last name when I was a child, Zengar. That meant I always sat in the back of the classroom when they were using the alphabet. It could also stand for zebra, or zoo, or even zoology, because I do love animals.
