Lauren Wolk: Hello. My name is Lauren Wolk. There's not an awful lot to say about my name, except that when I was named Lauren there were not many Laurens in the world. Now there are quite a few, but it was a very unusual name for the time, as was my last name, Wolk, which comes from a German name which means cloud, and I really like that very much. People think that it means people as in Volkswagen with a V, but it actually means cloud. I don't have a lot of funny stories about it, except that now that I've written a book called Wolf Hollow, people are starting to call me Lauren Wolf, which I find pretty amusing.
