It's spelled with a U, rather than a W like you might normally see. But the year I was born many girls named Shaun spelled their names with a W. My mom was afraid if she used the Irish spelling of S-E-A-N, people would call me Seen. I used to hate my name because no one could ever spell it right. But much like my nose, which is pretty prominent, I grew into it.
