Vicki O. Wittenstein: Hello, my name is Vicki Oransky-Wittenstein. My real name is just Vicki. Many people who don't know me call me Victoria but that isn't my real name. I was named from my father's aunt who he called Tanta Vica. Tanta Vica was from Russia and Tanta is the Russian name for aunt. My mother and father loved Tanta Vica very dearly and they said that was why they gave me her name. Everyone seems to have their own spelling for Vicki, V-I-C-K-Y, V-I-K-K-I, V-I-C-K-I-E, but my name is spelled V-I-C-K-I. Oransky is my family name. But when I married, I added my husband's last name, Wittenstein. So now I have a long name but I love the way it represents the people on my family tree. When I say it out loud, Vicki Oransky-Wittenstein, I feel strong and proud.
