Nina Laden: Hello. My name is Nina Laden. My first name is like the Nina, the Pinta and the Santa Maria, and my last name is actually Polish. My great grandfather, Louis Ladinsky, changed our family name to Laden when he came from Poland to the United States in the late 1800s. He wanted our last name to sound less Polish. I really wish that he had kept it the way it was. Thank you.
