Leah Pileggi: Hi, my name is Leah Pileggi. Sometimes people pronounce it Pileggi, but the double G in Italian is a soft G sound.

When I got married, I took my husband's last name, which at that time was Pillage. His name was Pillage because my husband's grandfather had come from Italy at the age of 12, and his name had been changed from Pileggi to Pillage when he came through Ellis Island. A lot of people's names were changed at Ellis Island. We changed it back to the original Italian name, Pileggi, after we were married for a few years. Good move, don't you think?
