Jenna McCarthy: Hello. My name is Jenna McCarthy. I am frequently confused with another author by the name of Jenny McCarthy, but I am Jenna. Jenna is actually short for Jennifer. Even though Jenna is a common name now, it wasn't when I was growing up, so when people would get confused, I would say, "It's Jennifer without the fer." I didn't think it was that complicated. Anyway, it is short for Jennifer, but nobody ever called me Jennifer, so I am Jenna McCarthy.
