Bridget Birdsall: Hello. My name is Bridget Birdsall and my name is both Irish and English. My first name, Bridget, is Irish. My last name, Birdsall is English and the history of Birdsall is from the falconers in England who worked in the castles and took care of the birds. It was called bird's hall. And my first name, I was named after an Irish maid of my French and English grandmother from the south. And she had told my father that he should not marry an Irish girl, which was my mother, because Irish were meant for the kitchen. So I was the first of six children and I was named after his favorite Irish maid as the story goes. Bridget. Bridget Birdsall.
