Tracy Kidder: Hello, my name is Tracy Kidder. Tracy has now become mostly a woman's name. It's my mother's middle name. I have in the past gotten quite a few letters addressed to Ms. or Mrs. Tracy Kidder. I don't mind that a bit. At one point I thought that my books would sell better if we put a picture of my wife on the cover, but we never did do that. It probably would have been better at least than my picture.
