Ted Staunton: Hi, my name is Ted Staunton. When I was a kid I used to really be bugged by the name Ted which is a short form or a nickname for Edward, which is my real name. My mom started to call me Ted because she said it made me sound different from my dad whose name was Fred and my grandpa whose name was Ed, although how much different it made me sound, I don't quite get.

What really bugged me about it was that Ted was also a short form for another name, Theodore, which was a name you still heard sometimes when I was a kid and I hated that name. Everybody would think that my real name was Theodore and I'd always have to tell them that no, it was Edward. And then they'd get all confused.

These days when my friends wanna bug me, they call me Tedward.
