Heather Smith: Hello, my name is Heather Smith, a straightforward name and pretty easy to pronounce. It was my brother Peter who thought that I should be named Heather. Apparently he said something like, Heather is a nice name. Considering he was only three years old, I'm quite thankful for his reasonable suggestion. Had I been asked to suggest a baby name at the age of three, I would likely have proffered meatball or Yankee Doodle Dandy. Then again, I never was the sensible one.
