Gregory Funaro: Hello. My name is Gregory Funaro. The first part of my last name is pronounced the same as the word "fun," as in having lots of fun reading my books. The second part is pronounced "ah-ro," as if someone was doing a bad British accent and pronounced the word "arrow" as "ah-ro," as in "I have a quiver full of ah-rows." "Fun-arrow" is the way my last name is most frequently mispronounced, but I've heard everything from "Forno" to "Funnararo," which is what my seventh grade gym teacher called me for the entire year. Mr. Cavanaugh, wherever you are, once again the correct pronunciation of my last name is "Fun-ah-ro."
