Eliot Schrefer: Hi. My name is Eliot Schrefer. Schrefer is pronounced Schrefer. Kind of like a fake fur substitute. It's not fur. It's Schrefer. I was actually ... I was in kindergarten when E. T. came out, and so the main character's name is Elliott. It's not usual to find an Eliot in popular culture, so immediately I had a full year of being teased about E. T. A lot of kids saying, "E. T., phone home," and pointing at me at recess. So I hated my name when I was little, but now I actually really like it. So pronunciation again is Eliot Schrefer.
