Rolanda McCowan: Hello. My name is Rolanda McCowan. Rolanda seems like a simple name. The easiest way to remember it is to think of Yolanda, but with an R. The reason I was named Rolanda is because my parents wanted a boy, and I would've been named Roland. But considering I came out a girl, I'm Rolanda.

Now, McCowan is a little more difficult for some people. They seem to think of McGowan. Think of mac, cow, and Ann, and you get McCowan. And that's my name. And that's who I am.
