Sean Beaudoin: Hello, my name is Sean Beaudoin, like bow as in arrow. It's a French name that's not at all unusual in Canada or Louisiana, but is perplexing for most English speakers. Some parts of my family pronounce it, Beaudoin. Others say Bowden. I usually just say Sean and leave it at that. When I was a camp counselor in college, none of the kids could pronounce my name, so for a whole summer everyone just called me Mr. Soul. I have to say that's probably the coolest 90 days I've ever spent. So if you want to call me Mr. Soul as well, please do.
