Matthew Holm: Hi, my name is Matthew Holm. It's an incredibly simple name that is often misspelled or mispronounced. I like to tell people that it's like Holm, as in Stockholm. My father used to tell me a story that his grandfather, my great grandfather, Charles Henry Holm, changed his name to Holm from whatever the original was. And the story goes that he had a terrible falling out with his parents and had left Finland and sailed away and eventually came to America and changed his name never told anyone what it was. And on his deathbed, my Great Aunt Alice had leaned in, and he said, "I'm finally ready to tell you what my real name was." And my father said to her afterwards, "Yes, yes, what was it?" And she said, "Oh, I couldn't be bothered." And she never heard. So, I don't know that's just a tall tale my dad was telling me or if it's the truth, but that's the story as I heard it.
