Jennifer L. Holm: Hello. My name is Jennifer L. Holm. Holm is actually a Swedish last name, even though we're Finnish, but the Swedes intermarried a lot, and everybody has a tendency to call me Jennifer Holmes, like Sherlock Holmes, and they want to put an E-S on the end for some reason, but it's just plain old Holm, H-O-L-M. My first name, Jennifer, I was named after my great-grandmother on my mother's Italian side of the family, Genevieve Scatia, and Genevieve is Italian for Jennifer. Finally, my middle name, the L, the mysterious L in Jennifer L. Holm stands for Louise, which is, I was named after my dad's sister as my middle name. When I was little, my dad used to call me Jennie Lou Who, which drove me bonkers.
