Tedd Arnold: Hi. My name is Tedd Arnold, but I'm not related to Benedict Arnold or Arnold the Pig. I got that a lot when I was younger. More recently, kids ask, "Hey, are you Hey Arnold?" I tell them, "Hay is for horses, not for Arnolds," but I say it in a nice way. My family ancestors on my father's side go back to Germany where the name was Arnholt. It was changed when they moved to America. My first name is actually Theodore, same as my father. When I was little, I was called Teddy, then Ted, spelled T-E-D. When I was in college I studied art and I was signing a lot of paintings and drawings. I decided I needed to make my name look cool. I remembered friends named Todd, spelled T-O-D-D, and wondered why they got to have to two D's but someone named Ted only got one. So I added a D to my name and since then, I'm the only one who can spell it correctly. It's T-E-D-D, so don't forget.
