Charlotte S. Waisman: Hello, my name is Charlotte Waisman. That W-A-I-S-M-A-N, an odd name. I think it really came from the Weissmanns, W-E-I-S-S-M-A-N-N, but when they got to Ellis Island, they were nervous, they said W in English, but said I in German, meaning E, and the person heard it as an A, so Charlotte Waisman happened.
