Ellen Dee Davidson: Hello, my name is Ellen Dee Davidson. Before I was married, my name was Ellen Mogluer. That name was hard to pronounce, and I always had to spell it. Also, it wasn't the original Russian name, which was probably something more like Moglovowski. So when I married, I didn't hesitate to change my name to Davidson.

Now I like using my middle name because of the alliteration, Ellen Dee Davidson. Ellen means "light" and Dee means "dark waters." So I like that, the mix of dark and light, which is our human nature.
