Kathryn Otoshi: Hello, my name is Kathryn Otoshi. My first name Kathryn is spelled K-A-T-H-R-Y-N, a rather unusual spelling with the Y in it and with only two syllables, Kathryn, versus the more common Catherine with three syllables, in which you can start with either a C or a K. originally I was going to be named Kathleen, but when the neighbors across the street had a little girl and named her Kathleen a week before I arrived into the world, my parents decided to call me Kathryn. I'm glad that all happened because actually I like the name I ended up with. My last name, Otoshi, is Japanese. My initials KO happens to be an abbreviated shortcut for the word knockout. If you say, wow, what a knockout design, that's a good thing.
